We were asked by our client, Apollo Capital Projects – with whom we have successfully worked on a number of competitions and built healthcare projects – to provide a competition submission for a proposed primary care health centre in Pentyrch.

The scheme was based on a sloping site, with the building slightly curving along its main contours and views across a valley to the south and west. It was broken into three main blocks to provide additional opportunities for natural daylight, ventilation and views, as patients progressed through the building.
